08/14: Our little miracle has FINALLY arrived - 3 years after we started trying!
I love them all! Hopefully I can get some more done on ours this weekend and post pictures. I'm having my two year old and new baby share a room (the first time around I had the nursery done asap) and I'm trying to do a Neverland theme. It's turning into a hodge podged nautical/English garden/Peter Pan randomness but I sort of love it! Keep posting girls, this might be one of my favorite threads so far! It's like my own personal version of stalking home decor!
Ooooooh I like it!! It looks nice. I don't have a nursery to decorate but we are moving soon after baby is born so hopefully I can decorate one later.
This exactly. We are in a 1br right now, and moving into a 3br out of state on Oct 1st. Yikes and Yay! all at the same time. Nursery theme is based on this art:
And I chose the skip hop mod dot and alphabet zoo bedding to go with it.
Oh geez, our nursery is nowhere near finished. We're going shopping for the furniture next weekend and will paint the weekend after that. My goal is for it to be ready and finished by the first of July. Crossing fingers.

Nursery. Ugh. That's what we are supposed to be working on today. It has made me cry and caused H and I to fuss . I want to get as much done as possible, but he doesn't because he's worn out from work these past 4 days. He's not off until 8 more Saturdays after this weekend and it's not like he's going to work on it while he's off some. He works a four on four off schedule. He won't do anything if I'm not here.
Everyone's nursery looks great so far though! Sorry for the silly rant.
Everyone's nurseries look fantastic! Add me to the done nothing club. We close next week so at this point I have bought a box of pampers and that's it.
I've gotten the closet cleaned out and clothes put away into drawers. We still need to transition DS1 into his big-boy bed so we can swap it out for the crib.
Vintage Circus Nursery. Just waiting on the crib (which my aunt is giving me and we just need to pick it up).
Looks cute!!! Question for you: What did you use to attach the fabric on the inside of those embroidery hoops. I'm doing the same thing for our nursery and can't figure out the best way to attach the fabric.
Can we keep this going? We just cleaned out our nursery and are starting to paint it this week. I want to be able to show it off when it's done even if I'm late to the game!:)

Place the fabric between the two rings (each hoop has 2 rings, a smaller inner ring and the larger outer ring). Make sure to leave enough fabric around all the inside edge of the hoop so you can pull it taut as you tighten the top screw. Once you have it all put together and smooth and tightened, trim the excess fabric. You cannot trim the fabric to fit the hoop beforehand because you will have nothing to grab on the edges to pull it taut. I hope that makes sense.
Thanks!! I didn't realize you just had to trim it that close. I thought I would have to somehow attach/glue it to the inner ring.
@BlckRoses we are on the same boat DH is working on installing the floor, but my entire house look full of tools and boxes, hopefully he will start to install the floor tomorrow. Btw for some reason he put the crib together on our current computer room but is not gonna fit thru the door... So I need extra patience
I am extremely happy with ours simply because it had a queen sized bed and frame and no curtains or ceiling fan just yesterday. I need stuff to hang on the walls still...
Still need H to spray paint the lamp and dresser pulls, I need to make the crib skirt, blanket and foot pouf along with other odds and ends that need to be done. And our chair doesn't come in until the end of June, but I'm super happy with it so far!
Lookin good, mommas! Our nursery looks the same as it did in February... Will post more pics when I get back to it after the school year is done. Can't wait!
Well I think I finally made a big fuss about getting the room that were going to remodel cleaned out cause dh helped me all morning cleaning and going through his crap! So hopefully the drywall can go up next week and we will be one step closer.
I can play now that we have the crib assembled & everything crammed into the closet lol The glider will go in the corner where the PNP is currently. Just waiting on that & the mobile
Can you tell that our pets think we've built them a play room?
